Directions to the Train Lodge

The thing we must stress is DO NOT GO TO CAPE TOWN TRAIN STATION for Atlantic Rail trips. You will only get confused. Follow the directions given below.

 

 
 

From N1:

1. Left at the robot from the N1 into Oswald Pirow
2. Second robot RIGHT into Hertzog Boulevard
3. First Left into Civic Avenue
4. Left at the T junction into Old Marine Drive
5. Immediately after going under the bridge, on your right hand side you will see the Train Lodge.
6. We use the Train Lodge entrance as our entrance for the train.

From N2:

1. From N2 onto Eastern Boulevard.
2. Take the Oswald Pirow Street exit from the eastern Boulevard
3. As you come to the first intersection (Robot) , you go straight over Oswald Pirow
4. You are then in Hertzog Boulevard and you turn left at the very first road (also a robot) into Civic Avenue
5. At the T junction you turn left into Old Marine Drive
6. Just ahead of you is a bridge that you go under and immediately after that on your right hand side is the Train Lodge.
7. We use the Train Lodge as our entrance.

From the V&A Waterfront:

1. Head southwest on Dock Rd toward Dock Rd, Go through 1 roundabout.
2. At the second roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Coen Steytler Ave
3. Follow Coen Steytler until it ends in a roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Heerengracht St
4. Turn left at the robot into Hertzog Blvd
5. Turn right at the second robot into Civic Ave (by the Volvo Dealership)
6. At the T junction you turn left into Old Marine Drive
7. Just ahead of you is a bridge that you go under and immediately after that on your right hand side is the Train Lodge.
8. We use the Train Lodge as our entrance.
